The Education of Sky McCloud

MIT’s Henry Jenkins (cool) on Scott McCloud (cooler) and his daughter Sky (apparently, coolest). Weird, I know, but just read it. Very bloggy; the kind of reflection and discourse that doesn’t really fit anywhere else, you know? Glad there’s a place for it.

Jenkins is most assuredly a cool dude. You might be interested in his new book Convergence Culture: Where Old and New Media Collide. It relates to many of the discussions I see here on Snarkmarket.

Yeah, I'd heard about it... for some reason I was a little skeptical, but enough peope have recommended it now that I guess I will check it out.

i don't know if it exists out there but sky's presentation (intro to her dad, scott) is excellent. if you were lucky enuf to watch one of the book tour lectures, you'll know what i mean. too bad it's not (yet) on youtube... !

regarding jenkin's blog, yup, it's good. check out the link to scott's lecture. i think it's all 2 hours plus of his lecture. very worthwhile.
