Snarkmatrix London

Never done this before on this blog: Any readers/pals in London? I’ll be there Thursday through Sunday. Drop me a line (robin at snarkmarket) or leave a comment.

I fully support trips to London. However, I will be in San Francisco this weekend, therefore I am sad that you will be away!

Robin, there are (at least) two things going on in this timeframe that you might find of interest.

Social Media Club London meets this Thursday evening at Hill & Knowlton in Soho Square - the signup is here: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/82805674/ we'll be talking about the love-hate relationship between marketers & bloggers.

In addition, the Coffee Morning un-hosted by Russell Davies is always full of interesting people - it's very informal and people start showing up at 11am at the Breakfast Club in D'Arblay Street, Soho. http://russelldavies.typepad.com/planning/coffee_morning/index.html

I'll be at both - would love to meet up & my contact details are on my blog.

London is chilly, misty and damp this morning and expected to stay the same for the rest of the week (temp unlikely to go over 50F).

Ooops, forgot the detail that the Coffee Morning is on Friday...

Say hello to Russell Square and the British Museum for me. The latter is the most glorious monument to colonialist cultural pillage in the world -- which is why it's the single greatest museum.

Agreed, with Tim. When was the last time you were in London? Was it before they erected the giant statue of Newton at the new British Library? I feel that your inner (outer?) nerd will appreciate it muchly!

a pity that the circular library in the British Museum is closed for a terracotta warrior exhibit, or I would insist that you went; nay, dragged you there myself!
