Awesome interview with Ira Glass from CJR Daily. Also, awesome story from the L.A. Times about the “This American Life” television show (!). “Television is the medium of our time,” he says. Wait, why does that sound so familiar?
Both excellent links! EXCELLENT I say!
Love that CJR interview. I wish more interviews were like that — just kinda casual and nerdy.
Uh-oh, though… note that Christine Vachon, the producer working w/ Glass on his TV thing, is responsible for “Camp.”
Lots of other unbelievably amazing movies, too. But still… “Camp.”
I assume Ms. Vachon, like all the other venerated pros that lent their names to that thing, was party to some serious blackmail.
