Bespoke Blog
Coolest blog I have seen in a while: English Cut, written by Thomas Mahon, a bespoke tailor on Savile Row in London.
Reading this blog makes me happy. It’s just so thoughtful and, well, un-digital.

Wow; "English Cut" is beautiful. Mahon seems to have a certain youthful sense of humor that nicely balances and democratizes the wisdom and insight of his more traditional occupation.
Rob, what do you think about the claim made at the end in his "How to pick a 'bespoke' tailor" post (http://www.englishcut.com/archives/000005.html) -- that journalists don't have the proper knowledge to evaluate the work of a tailor? This seems to hit on the basic problem of "the critic" in general -- and also the difference between democratizing, modernizing capitalism/science/journalism and the traditional apprenticeship-based world of the artisan.
