Oh man, this is WEIRD. And awesome. Who’s next? Who would Superman turn out to be if his space capsule crashed in Andhra Pradesh instead of Kansas?

You've seen the "what if Superman's space capsule had landed in the Soviet Union instead of the USA," right?

Funny you should mention it! I looked for "Red Son" at the bookstore today while I was there, but they didn't have it. I totally want to read it.

Red Son is pretty good, although Superman is much more omnipotent than I remember him being (and it has an oddly planet-of-the-apes-esque ending).

As always, I think I dug its take on Batman more than anything else.

Seriously, Batman is so much more mythologically potent than Superman.

I can't wait for the new movie.
