Community Wikis

Since we’re talking about citizen/community journalism: Check out this wiki for the city of Davis, California. It’s really slick! I love the assertive tagline: “The definitive resource for Davis, California.”

Why is there no San Franciso wiki?

How would one go about finding out whether one's city has a community wiki? Is there a central web site where wikis can link up, swap ideas, and generally see how other communities do their thing?

Not that I know of, Tim. I'd just Google + wiki.
