Any public space ideas out there? This is not exactly what Vancouver’s looking for, but I still really want a café with a collaborative playlist, so everybody who brings in a laptop can log on, upload tracks, and then vote on which ones get played. It’d be such a fun way to share music.

Sounds like something that Starbucks is working on. But it doesn't sound to hard to do ... are you working on it?

i think there's a bar here that has, instead of a jukebox, itunes on a kiosk and anyone can modify the playlist however they want to.
not quite the same, since you can't upload your own songs, but you do get to control what gets played.
