I was briefly skeptical of Nintendo’s new controller design, but this promo just totally changed my mind. It’s a little bizarre and over-the-top but I LOVE IT. Or rather, it’s a little bizarre and over-the-top and therefore I LOVE IT.

I betcha that Nintendo could make theirselves a darn good fishin' game with that there controller, I tell ya what.
Oh, you snarkify now, but just wait until Mario Bass Fishing is like THE hit of 2007. And all of us, despite all imaginable predispositions otherwise, will love it.
Oh, but Rob, I was serious -- I was just poking fun at my own reaction to the controller, which was one entirely of blue-collar midwestern dude-geekiness.
Fishing game? It's a possibility, I suppose, but to my mind this would be killer for flight sims.
I too was skeptical but i have now seen the light... i don't care how much it will cost i will own one, if only to take apart and make into something else.
and did you see the part in the video that looked like two chefs playing a cooking game?! that is going to change the world.
