Very nice. For a scattershot at a similar idea, without the literary pretention/perfection, I recommend the Flickr “Entrance to Hell” group :)
Also for some reason reminds me of Wikipedia’s List of places with columnar joined volcanics. Remember when Wikipedia was fun?
