I've never been a big Mariah fan, but Shook Ones Pt. 2 has long been my favorite hip hop beat and one of my favorite songs of all time. The haunting piano is only equaled by the eerie sample -which I can't describe- lightly lifted from Quincy Jones' - Kitty with the bent Frame. Add the incredible lyrics -arguably Mobb Deep's best- and you have the instant classic it was. Mariah does the sample justice. Thanks for the rec.
