Rune Guneriussen’s work feels like Hayao Miyazaki meets C.S. Lewis. Not just a lone lamppost among the trees but a whole parade of lamps, sneaking out of houses and marching off towards some Great Lamp Gathering in the night.
Also: coffee tables, globes, rotary phones.
Guneriussen’s photos are all very quiet… but I think if you mashed them all together, you might get the parade from Paprika.
