Showdown in the Public Domain
 /

I’m a little late to the party on this, but I love it:

  1. Some new Jamba Juice ads rip off “Get Your War On.”
  2. David Rees issues a funny call-to-arms.
  3. But this is my favorite part: What’s the law at work here? Is it copyright, even though “Get Your War On” is built on public-domain clip art? Is it trademark? “Trade dress”? Things get nerdy, fast, and I like it.
