Wow!
Man – Kottke has struck again.
I’ve been in class all day! I just ran to a library terminal to buy it. The first time paypal told me the transaction didn’t go through. I thought I was too late, and I was actually tearing up. Then I tried again and it worked–I hope!
Wow. As of 7:40 PM Eastern Time, it’s gone. And I didn’t even get my Wordwright post up. I will guard my contributor’s copy zealously.
I’m absolutely furious that they’re sold out. I think it’s a conspiracy to prevent the masses from knowing anything about the new liberal arts or your collective brilliance.
I demand a second printing and I demand that mine be signed. AND…ok I don’t have anything else to add, but I’m really really upset.
Don’t blame Jason Kottke; I’d say that it was “piggies like me” except that I don’t actually know that anybody else bought, as I did, two copies. Hoarding! My plan to give the second copy to some deserving friend is really just so much crap, considering the demonstrable interest of frustrated buyers.
Hi,
I’d still consider a print copy if you make more. If you put ’em on Amazon, I’ll ask my local library to get one.
Wow! Congratulations. I’m really looking forward to my copy!
The snarkmatrix awaits you
