I realize I sound curmudgeonly, so I preemptively note that for once I was actually a twitter early adopter . . but. . .isn’t it sort of, well, rude to be twittering when you’re meeting with the President? (Or really anyone, for that matter. . .). I mean, if I was meeting with this president, being rude would not be of great concern to me–but presumably it is to the Representative from Texas? Doesn’t he have better things to be doing than thumbing out status updates?
