Doing Things No Human Could Do

Robot bricklayers! I don’t know about you, but I always find these industrial robot arms hypnotic: so massive, yet so fast and so precise.

P.S. The link is to the Monocle site. I got a chance to check out the printed magazine this weekend and it is pretty awesome.

Andrew says…

What about a robot Cask of Amontillado? Amaaazing.

Whoah. YES. I want to get a robot arm, give it some bricks, and set up a Cask of Android-tillado exhibit in some sort of forward-thinking techno-fusion art museum RIGHT. NOW.

“The thousand injuries of wretched humankind I had borne as best I could, but when they ventured on insult, I vowed robotic bricklaying revenge.”

I’m also having this vision of a Kasparov/Deep Blue style showdown between the bricklaying robot and Zack the Lego Maniac.

The snarkmatrix awaits you
