While in Gameworks at Tampa last weekend, I discovered the new recreational craze that’s poised to grip the nation: 3-puck, 2-paddle air hockey (I have no idea who those people are, but they’re playing 3P2P). Let that sink in for a moment. Three pucks. Two paddles. Eternal glory.
It’s called the SEGA Hockey Stadium, and it’s pretty much worth lobbying City Hall to bring it to your town.

I understand you can get quite a workout from playing 3 puck air hockey!
Dude, you don’t even know. I’m still sore-and-a-half right now, like four days later.
I have been trying to get a Sega Hockey Stadium for our Arcade down here in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, but the only one I can find is in Japan. Do you know where I can locate one?

I searched for months to find it anywhere outside Japan, but failed. They were only released on the Japanese market, so any tables NOT in Japan are imported. I first played it in Vancouver, Canada – at an Arcade that eventually went bankrupt – so they sold their 1 table off but I wasn’t quick enough to buy it (some Toronto-based company bought their entire inventory)
Eventually I just decided to import one from Japan, through Coin-Op Express. Chances are they have one less table available now:)
